The Medical Doctor is the first line of defense against the waves of irradiated, poisoned, on fire masses that often come to Medical. Get medicine from the Chemists while treating crewmates with all sorts of ailments. See the medical guide for more information about how to treat crewmates.

	Bruise Pack	Heals 7.5 points of blunt, slash, and piercing, per use.
	Ointment	Heals 7.5 points of heat, cold and shock damage while only healing 2.5 caustic per use
	Blood Pack	Gives 15u of blood (roughly 5% blood level) and heals .5 bloodloss damage per use.
	Pill	Administers a dosage of a specific chemical or medicine upon ingestion. Dosages can vary from 1 to 20 units.
	Syringe	Administers a dosage of a specific liquid upon injection. Dosages can only be administered 5, 10, or 15 units at a time, and can store a maximum of 15 units.
	Gauze	Stops bleeding upon application, healing 7.5 slash and 15 piercing as well.
	Medipen	A shot of 12u of epinephrine and 3u of tranexamic acid.
	Epinephrine	30 units of epinephrine.
	Defibrillator	Used to bring people back from death (as long as they have not rotted). Cures 40 asphyxiation damage if they're dead but deals 5 shock.

Tips

• Make sure to have a store of basic medicine on you, namely medicine such as bicaridine, tricordrazine, and inaprovaline, all of which are very useful in a pinch.

• Always treat patients with whatever medicines you have at your disposal. Scan patients with the health analyzer to determine the best course of treatment.

• The Chief Medical Officer has a computer in his room, which shows the status of other medical personnel and their location. Use this to recover lost bodies and keep track of the life status of the Heads.

• You may have to coordinate with the other doctors and the Chemists to prioritize wounded patients. Be sure to treat patients as efficiently as possible to prevent a buildup of wounded patients in need of care.

• Liase with the Bartender for the cure of some diseases. Refer to Virology.

• You can use your Medical PDA as an Health Analyzer.
